In general, no specific instruction is
needed to form Goobi structures.However,
using the following instruction will help to form stronger
structures in the shortest time using optimal strength of the
magnets.
To form a triangle, take
3 attached Goobi bars, as shown in Figure 5A, and bend
the the 2 ends of the line, as shown in Figure 5B, to
give them the shape of a triangle without using balls (see
Figure 5C).
To complete the triangle just add a ball on each vertex, as
shown in Figure 5D.
The same principle of
constructing a triangle can be used to
construct a square or a pentagon as shown in
Figure 6 and Figure 7.
For the strongest stability of structures it is best to use
the Goobi bar polarities with the same directions as it is done
in Figure 5A, 6A & 7A.
The advantage of this sequence
is that the Goobi bars have opposite polarities at their point
of attraction and by adding a ball in between makes the
attraction firmer and stronger.
Almost all other 2D and 3D structures are built on the bases
of triangles, squares and pentagons.
While building larger triangular base
structures use the following diagram for faster and
stronger results. Figures 8A to 8H illustrate the
steps to build a basic model of a triangular base structure.
